Okay-Okay

Hi everyone!! I'm not going to the basic apologies of  " I'm  sorry for not having posted for sometime" cos it's been agess. In this case I'd just blame it on my final year at campus which comes with a lot to do my research project being one of them. But it's over now...done and done! Starting with my title for today's post okay a word which I got from this fiction novel that I finished reading over the last week end called The fault in our stars - #1 New York Times BestSeller  and currently a major motion picture from 20th Century Fox.   The word was used by this young teenage couple when ending their conversations. I do use this word quite a lot sometimes when not in the mood to write or express my feelings. And I know my dad uses the ok word a lot I times since he's not a texting person. There is this one Christmas when he wasn't with us because he had to travel for work. So I texted him (don't remember what ex...

Good Friday..

Hi loves! It has been quite long since I last posted, well,I have been really caught up with my end-of semester exams.I will be done next week though and there is a lot of good stuff in my editorial calender that I am going to be sharing with you!! It is a long Easter weekend ahead commenced with the good Friday, which according to most christian church rituals,we are not allowed to eat meat today,I have people I know from my school who did not eat meat over the entire period of lent! I borrowed this meaning of Good Friday from Google, the Friday before Easter Sunday, on which the Crucifixion of Jesus Christ is commemorated in the Christian Church. It is traditionally a day of fasting and penance. I think I am going to have the longest Easter weekend though since I have a cold:( and an exam right after Easter. Was stuck in my room all day till later in the evening when I decided to go out for a while.I ended up in a restaurant and I had a very hard time looking at the menu since I lo...

Hi beautiful people!! How are you all doing on this beautiful Sunday? It is a very sunny day in Nairobi but I understand that there are some places where it is raining right now.Well,March is coming to an end,it is about time I make that call home for my allowance,(school life) Today I am going to share with you my cake safari! I had this crazy craving for a cake and I had to do something about it! So I decided to visit The Thika Road Mall(TRM).It is the biggest mall in East Africa allocated along the Thika Highway. It was my first time there so I first walked around some shops and stores before reaching my destination, The Cake City .I fell in love with this place instantly, for a while I just stood there staring at the cakes! The branch manager,Jackie is a very nice lady! She let me walk around and take photos of cakes and of course, stare at them if I had to!She told me a lot more about The Cake City .They make all types of cakes for different eve...

The classical music

Hi loves! Today I want to share with you my experience with classic music. You might all be wondering why would I be interested to write about such a topic. Well, this is what happened.....last week I had an exam, rather a CAT(Continuous Assessment Test) and well,I was not prepared,we all have those days.So I woke up very early the day before my test, and it was really hard to give up my sleep since I love sleeping a lot,and we all know how hard it is to leave the blankets in the morning. The subject I was reading has a lot of notes,it's a marketing unit and I had not revised in the longest time!So you can imagine the pressure. As I was doing my " zima moto" ,my nerves got the best of me because there was so much to read and a little time to do it.I was using my timer but I think it made things even worse, time was flying too fast and the sun was going to come out of the hiding soon:( Something just crossed my mind about the classic music.I remember hearing people saying th...

And we are live in 3...2...1!!!

Hi everyone, So this is my very first post and I am beyond exciteddd!I am so obsessed with photography and well, after a lot of crying and pleading to my parents they got me a camera, more of a beginner camera,Sony cyber-shot DSC-H100 and I loove it.My interest in photography started when I was in secondary school,in my form two to be precise.I read this novel, short novel( lawd!I do not remember the title ) so she was a photojournalist for her school magazine and her dad was also a photographer and he had his studio at home.So that's pretty much it!And maybe my dad,he has a lot of cameras and he really complains when any of them gets destroyed,he mostly buys them when he travels!I wanted to steal ( family borrowing ) one of his latest cameras,a Nikon that I don't even know what series it falls in but I had to be a good girl and behave! And he would have noticed anyway and maybe he would have never agreed to get me a beginner camera:( At first I really wanted to become a photojou...
